Social Media Management | Ritner Digital

SOCIAL THAT ACTUALLY GROWS.

Most businesses post inconsistently, get ignored, and wonder why social isn't working. We build and manage social media presences that grow real audiences — and turn them into customers.

What We Do

Every way we manage your social presence.

From strategy to daily execution — we run the whole thing, or plug into the parts you need help with.

📋
Content Strategy
Monthly content calendars planned around your business goals, audience behavior, and platform-specific formats — so every post has a reason to exist beyond filling a slot.
✍️
Content Creation
Captions, graphics, short-form video scripts, and Reels concepts — all written and designed in your brand voice. We produce content that sounds like you, not like a marketing agency.
🕐
Scheduling & Publishing
Consistent posting at optimal times across every platform — without you having to think about it. We handle the queue, the timing, and the cross-platform formatting.
💬
Community Management
Responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a voice that fits your brand. Engagement isn't optional — it's how the algorithm decides whether to show your posts to more people.
📊
Reporting & Analytics
Monthly reporting on reach, engagement, follower growth, and top-performing content — with plain-language takeaways and what we're adjusting next month based on the data.
🎯
Paid Social
Boosted posts, Meta lead gen ads, LinkedIn sponsored content, and TikTok ads — managed as part of your social strategy to amplify what's already working organically.

What We Fix

The three reasons social isn't working.

Most businesses aren't failing at social because of bad luck. These three problems account for nearly every stalled account we inherit.

⚠ 10 posts in 90 days — algorithm penalizes inconsistency
❌ Problem
Posting in bursts, then going dark for weeks.
Algorithms reward consistency above almost everything else. A page that posts 4 times one week and nothing for three weeks doesn't build momentum — it resets it. The accounts that grow are the ones that show up reliably, even when the content isn't perfect.

Promotional content gets 22× less engagement than value-first content
❌ Problem
Using social media as a broadcast channel instead of a conversation.
Most business social accounts are 70% promotional — "buy this," "check this out," "we're hiring." Nobody follows a brand to be advertised at. The accounts that grow give first: insights, behind-the-scenes, real stories, useful information. That earns the attention that makes the promotional posts actually land.

⚠ Unanswered comments signal low quality to the algorithm — reach drops
❌ Problem
Posting without responding — and losing the algorithm in the process.
Comments and DMs that go unanswered hurt you twice: you miss real leads who were ready to buy, and the algorithm reads low reply rates as a signal to show your posts to fewer people. Community management isn't a nice-to-have — it's how the algorithm decides your content is worth amplifying.

The Social Media Journey

From scattered posts to a presence that grows.

We don't just take over your Instagram and start posting. Every engagement follows a structured process — auditing what exists, building a strategy that fits your business, then executing and refining month over month.

Click each stage to explore →

Stage 01 — Audit

We figure out what's actually happening.

Before we post anything, we audit your current accounts. What's your posting history? What content has performed? What's the follower quality like — real people or ghost accounts built up from follow-for-follow? We look at your competitors, your audience demographics, and platform-specific performance to understand exactly what you're working with and what's worth keeping. The audit determines the strategy, not the other way around.

What We Review
Posting history & cadence Top & bottom performing posts Audience demographics Follower quality check Competitor benchmarking Platform-by-platform health Bio & profile optimization Existing content library
Stage 02 — Strategy

Platform mix, content pillars, posting cadence.

We build a social strategy before we create a single post. Which platforms should you actually be on? What are the three or four content themes that fit your brand and your audience? How often should you post on each platform — and when? We define your content pillars, set your tone of voice, establish what success looks like in month 1 versus month 6, and map it all to your business goals. Strategy is why some pages grow and others plateau.

What Gets Planned
Platform selection & rationale Content pillar framework Brand voice guidelines Posting cadence per platform Hashtag strategy Competitor content gaps 90-day content calendar KPI targets
Stage 03 — Create

Content written, designed, and approved.

We create all the content — captions, graphics, short-form video scripts, Reels concepts, and carousel copy — and send you a monthly content calendar for approval before anything goes live. Every post is written in your brand voice, designed to your visual standards, and optimized for the platform it's going on. A TikTok script sounds nothing like a LinkedIn article. We write for each channel, not copy-paste across all of them and hope for the best.

What Gets Produced
Caption copywriting Graphic design (static posts) Carousel copy & design Reels / TikTok scripts Story templates Hashtag sets per post Monthly content calendar Client approval workflow
Stage 04 — Publish & Engage

Scheduled, published, and actively managed.

Once content is approved, we schedule and publish across every platform — formatted correctly for each one, at the right times for your audience's activity patterns. But publishing is only half of it. We manage your comments and DMs daily — responding in your brand voice, flagging leads that need your attention, and making sure no "how do I get started?" goes unanswered for a week. The algorithm rewards accounts that engage, not just broadcast.

What Happens Daily
Platform-optimized publishing Optimal send time scheduling Comment moderation & replies DM management Story publishing Lead flagging Crisis monitoring
Stage 05 — Optimize

Monthly reporting and what changes next.

At the end of each month we send you a plain-language report — top posts, follower growth, reach trends, and engagement by platform. More importantly, we tell you what the data is saying and what we're changing in the next calendar based on it. Which content pillar is overperforming? Which platform is plateauing and why? Which post format is driving the most saves and shares? The report isn't a formality — it's how the program gets smarter every month.

Platforms

We manage the platforms your audience is actually on.

We don't recommend running every platform. We recommend running the right ones — and doing them well.

IG
Instagram
The highest-engagement platform for most consumer and B2B brands. Reels, carousels, Stories, and feed posts — we manage the full mix. Instagram rewards consistency and visual quality above all else, and it's where most of our clients see the fastest growth when managed properly.

LinkedIn
The best platform for B2B lead generation and executive thought leadership. We manage both company pages and personal executive profiles — because a CEO's LinkedIn presence consistently outperforms a company page for reach and engagement. If you're selling to businesses, LinkedIn is non-negotiable.

TK
TikTok
The highest organic reach of any platform right now. The algorithm rewards good content regardless of follower count — making it the best place to grow fast if you're willing to commit to short-form video.

FB
Facebook
Still the most-used platform globally, with the strongest community and event features. Essential for local businesses, older demographics, and brands running Facebook + Instagram ad campaigns.

YT
YouTube Shorts
Repurposed from TikTok or Reels content, Shorts give you Google search visibility alongside social reach. A good long-term play for brands investing in video.

Why Ritner Digital

What makes us different.

Most agencies treat social as a content calendar and a scheduler. We treat it as the front door of your brand — and manage it accordingly.

01
We write in your voice, not ours.
Every caption, script, and comment reply sounds like you — not like a marketing agency hired to sound like you. We invest time in the onboarding process to understand how your brand communicates, and we maintain that voice whether we're writing a LinkedIn article or responding to a TikTok comment at 9pm.
02
We manage community, not just content.
Publishing posts is table stakes. The difference between an account that grows and one that plateaus is often whether someone is actually engaging with the audience — responding to comments, handling DMs, and making followers feel like the brand is listening. We do both, every day.
03
We pick the right platforms, not all of them.
A mediocre presence on six platforms is worth less than an excellent presence on two. We tell you which platforms actually make sense for your business model and audience — and we don't recommend more than you can maintain well. The goal is growth, not activity.
04
You approve everything before it goes live.
Every piece of content goes through your approval before it's scheduled. You're not surrendering control — you're reclaiming your time. We do the work, you give a yes or a note. Monthly content calendars are sent for review at least a week before the first post goes out, every month.

FAQ

Questions we always get.

How many platforms do you manage?

It depends on your business and your budget. Most clients start with two to three platforms — typically Instagram and LinkedIn, or Instagram and Facebook, or LinkedIn and TikTok depending on the industry. We'd rather manage two platforms excellently than five platforms poorly. In the scoping call we'll tell you which platforms actually make sense for your audience and goals — and which ones you can skip.

Do you create the visuals and videos too, or just the copy?

Both. We create graphics, carousels, and designed posts as part of every engagement. For video content like Reels and TikTok, we write the scripts and can direct the concepts — but the actual filming typically needs to come from your side unless we're doing a shoot together. Most clients send us raw footage and we edit it; some clients film using our shot lists. We'll be upfront about what's included and what requires your participation.

How does approval work?

We send you a full monthly content calendar — captions, visuals, and post timing — at least a week before the first post is scheduled. You review everything, leave notes if anything needs changing, and give us a sign-off. Nothing goes live without your approval. Most clients turn around approval within 24–48 hours; we build that time into the schedule so publishing stays on track.

How long before we see real growth?

Honestly, it depends on your starting point and which platforms we're on. Most clients see meaningful engagement improvement within the first month — because consistency alone moves the needle when you've been inconsistent. Follower growth compounds over time; most clients see their strongest month-over-month growth in months 2–4 as the algorithm starts surfacing content to new audiences. We set realistic milestones in the onboarding and track against them monthly.

Do you handle the comments and DMs, or just post and leave?

We handle comments and DMs as part of every engagement — it's not an add-on. We respond to comments in your brand voice, manage DMs for general inquiries, and flag anything that needs your direct attention (like a warm lead asking for a quote). The one caveat: highly sensitive or legal questions will always be flagged to you rather than handled by us.

Can you manage a personal LinkedIn profile as well as our company page?

Yes — and we'd encourage it. A founder or executive's personal LinkedIn consistently outperforms a company page for reach, engagement, and lead generation. We offer personal profile management as part of our LinkedIn service and typically recommend running both in parallel, with the personal profile carrying thought leadership content and the company page handling announcements, hiring, and service-level content.
