The Rig Concept
A rugged website for mobile heavy-equipment repair and field service companies. Bold, fast and built to get the call when a machine goes down, shown here as a fictional design concept.
Fictional conceptThe business, people and content in this demo are invented to show design and development work. It is not a client project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any real company.

The next step

The Rig Concept, built for Squarespace.
What is the Rig Concept?
It’s a rugged website for mobile repair and field service companies: a homepage that takes a contractor from “my machine is down” to a truck on the way, with services, a downtime calculator, dispatch steps, equipment makes, maintenance plans, a service area map and a request form, all built as custom code on Squarespace. Use it as inspiration for a custom site built around your own brand.
Why it matters
When a machine goes down, the person calling is standing next to it on a phone. Most repair sites make them hunt for a number. This one puts the dispatch line and a request button everywhere, shows the makes you work on and how far you travel, and is built by an SEO practice so contractors searching for mobile repair near them can find you.
01 · See what’s inside
Pages included
Every page a repair company needs.
You get five page types, ready for your business: a 13-section homepage, a page for each service, equipment and makes with your dealer badges, maintenance plans and a request service page with dispatch, shop address and hours.
Section counts are from the demo site.
02 · See what’s inside
Service requests
From breakdown to dispatch.
The dispatch number sits in the nav, the hero and the footer, and request buttons sit in the services, plans and closing sections. The form asks for the machine, where it’s sitting and how urgent it is, so your dispatcher knows what to send before they call back.

Downtime calculator
Show them what down time costs.
Visitors slide to their own hourly cost of downtime and watch hauling a machine to a shop stack up against a field repair. It turns “why mobile?” into a dollar figure, and the hours behind it are set to your real numbers during setup.
Example math from the demo site.

Equipment and service area
The makes you fix. The miles you cover.
Your makes and machine types get their own section, with authorized dealer or OEM badges highlighted, and a ring map shows how far your trucks go and how fast. Contractors see right away that you work on their iron and come to their site.
Makes shown as examples; logos are not included.

Questions
Is the demo a real company?
No. Hartline Equipment Service, its people, numbers and reviews are fictional, made to show how the concept looks with real content. Equipment brand names are shown as examples. Your site launches with your company, your crew and your verified reviews.
Can you match my company’s brand colors?
Yes. The demo uses safety orange and charcoal, but colors, fonts and photos are all set to your brand during setup.
Does it work for other field service businesses?
Yes. It fits mobile mechanics, hydraulic and hose services, crane and forklift repair, generator service and fleet maintenance. Sections are renamed and rearranged to match what you do.
Can the calculator use my numbers?
Yes. The hours behind the downtime calculator are set to your typical shop and field repair times during setup.
Do I need photos?
Real photos of your trucks, crew and work make the biggest difference. If you don’t have them yet, I can help you plan a shoot or create polished placeholder images to start.
