AI Visibility
Audit(05)Find out what AI says about you right now.
Before changing anything, I ask the AI tools your customers use the questions they actually ask, record every answer and show you where you’re named, where you’re missing and why.

What is an AI visibility audit?
It’s a structured check of what AI tools say when your customers ask for what you sell. I run a fixed set of real questions through ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google’s AI, record every answer and score how often you’re named, what’s said about you and who’s named instead.
Why it matters
AI answers don’t show up in a rankings tool, so most businesses have no idea what’s being said. The audit shows whether AI can find you at all, whether it recommends you to someone who doesn’t already know your name, and exactly which gaps to close first.
How I do it
01 · Choose the questions
Prompt research
The audit is only as good as its questions.
I build a set of about 30 prompts from how your customers really ask: your Search Console searches, sales calls, reviews and emails. Most don’t include your name, because those are the questions where you have to earn the recommendation. Being found by name is easy; being picked by need is the real test.

02 · Run and compare
Engine coverage
Every AI tool, every prompt, more than once.
AI tools don’t agree with each other, and the same tool can answer differently from one run to the next. I run every prompt on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google’s AI Overviews and Copilot several times, and record whether you’re named, where, and whether the details are right.

03 · Run and compare
Competitor gaps
When AI doesn’t name you, it names someone.
I record which competitors appear, how often they’re named first and how they’re described compared with you. Then I work out why: more reviews, clearer pages, coverage in places you’re missing. Being findable and being preferred are different things, and every gap comes with a fix.

04 · Explain and report
Source analysis
The sites behind the answers.
AI answers lean on certain sources: forums, review sites, directories, video, local news and competitors’ own pages. I map which sites the AI tools cite for your category and whether you’re on them, so you know exactly where to show up next.

05 · Explain and report
Audit report
A score, the reasons and what to do first.
You get a plain-English report: your score, how you do on each type of question, what AI gets wrong about you, who it names instead and a short list of fixes in priority order. Then we run the same prompts again later, so the change is measured, not guessed.
