On-page
SEO(06)Every page built to rank for one clear thing.
Titles, descriptions, headings, images, copy and links all tell Google what a page is about. I tune each one around the search it should win, written for people first so the click turns into a call.

What is on-page SEO?
On-page SEO is everything on the page itself that helps it rank and get clicked: the title and description people see in search, the headings that organize it, the words and images on it and the links inside it. It’s the part of SEO you control directly.
Why it matters
Google ranks pages, not businesses. A page that clearly answers one search, in words people actually use, is far easier to rank than one that tries to cover everything or says nothing specific. And your title and description are your ad in the results, so they decide whether a ranking turns into a click.
How I do it
- Chapter 01 · 01–02Win the clickThe title and description people see before they ever reach your site.
- Chapter 02 · 03–04Make it clearHeadings that outline the page, and images described in words.
- Chapter 03 · 05–06Make it usefulAnswer what searchers came for, and point them to the next page they need.
01 · Win the click
Title tags
The headline of your search result.
The title tag is the blue link people click in Google, and one of the clearest signals of what a page is about. I write each one around the search it should win, keep it short enough to show in full and make sure no two pages share a title. Google sometimes rewrites titles it finds unclear, so clear, accurate ones are the best way to keep yours.

02 · Win the click
Meta descriptions
The short pitch under your link.
Descriptions don’t directly change rankings, and Google often writes its own from your page text. But when yours is shown, it’s your sales line. I write them to say what you do, why you and what to do next, so a ranking turns into a click instead of a scroll past.

03 · Make it clear
Headings
An outline people and Google can follow.
Headings break a page into clear sections. One main heading says what the page is about, and the ones under it cover each part in order. I fix missing and duplicate headings, replace vague ones like “Welcome!” and make sure the outline reads like a table of contents.

04 · Make it clear
Image alt text
Describe the picture for people who can’t see it.
Alt text is a short description of an image, read aloud by screen readers and used by Google to understand what the image shows. I write plain descriptions for the images that matter, rename files from IMG_4821 to something meaningful and leave purely decorative images properly blank.

05 · Make it useful
Content optimization
Answer what the searcher actually came to find out.
I look at what’s already ranking and what people ask about a topic, then make sure your page covers it clearly: costs, timing, what’s included, how to book. Written in plain language for people first, so it reads well and ranks well. No keyword stuffing.

06 · Make it useful
Internal links
Every link on the page should say where it goes.
On each page, I add links to the related pages a reader would want next, replace “click here” and “read more” with words that describe the destination and fix links that lead to dead pages. It helps visitors keep going and helps Google understand how your pages fit together.
