Page speed(06)Fast enough that nobody leaves.
Slow pages lose visitors before they see a thing. I find what’s weighing your site down and fix it, starting with the phones most of your customers use.

What is page speed?
Page speed is how quickly your pages load and respond for real visitors: how long until something appears, how long until the main content is there and how fast the page reacts when someone taps. Google measures it with Core Web Vitals, using data from real visits to your site.
Why it matters
Slow pages lose people before they’ve read a word, especially on phones. Speed is part of how Google judges page experience, but the bigger cost is usually the customer who gave up and called someone else. A faster site makes every visit you’ve already earned count for more.
How I do it
- Chapter 01 · 01MeasureFind out how fast your pages really are for real visitors, and which metric is failing.
- Chapter 02 · 02–04Lighten the pageShrink images, cache what doesn’t change and cut what phones don’t need.
- Chapter 03 · 05–06Fix what’s underneathClear out scripts that hold the page hostage and make sure your server isn’t the bottleneck.
01 · Measure
Core Web Vitals
The three numbers Google uses to judge your page.
Core Web Vitals measure how fast your main content shows up, how quickly the page responds to a tap and whether things jump around while it loads. Google uses real visitor data, not lab tests, so I track what your customers actually experience and fix whatever’s failing.

02 · Lighten the page
Image optimization
Same photos, a fraction of the weight.
Oversized images are the most common reason a page is slow. I resize them to the size they’re actually shown, convert them to modern formats like WebP, compress them without visible loss and load the ones further down only when someone scrolls to them.

03 · Lighten the page
Caching
Make the second visit nearly instant.
Most of your page doesn’t change from one visit to the next. Caching lets browsers keep your logo, fonts, styles and images instead of downloading them again, and a CDN serves them from somewhere close to each visitor.

04 · Lighten the page
Mobile performance
Fast on the phone in your customer’s hand.
Most of your visitors are on a phone, often a mid-range one on an average connection. I test under real mobile conditions, cut what phones don’t need, get your main content on screen first and make sure taps respond right away.

05 · Fix what’s underneath
Script cleanup
Every plugin and tracking tag has a cost.
Chat widgets, sliders, old tracking tags and duplicate pixels pile up over the years, and each one makes the page wait. I list every script on your site, remove what’s unused, delay what can wait and keep only what earns its place.

06 · Fix what’s underneath
Hosting review
Sometimes the slow part is the server.
If your host is the bottleneck, no amount of tuning on the page fixes it. I check server response times, compression, caching and whether a CDN is in play, then tell you plainly whether your hosting is holding you back and what switching would actually gain. Some platforms, like Squarespace, handle this for you, and I’ll say so.
