Paid
Ads(9)Ads that bring in calls, not just clicks.
I run Google, Local Services and Facebook ads for small businesses, aimed at the people ready to hire you, sent to pages built to convert, tracked to real calls and jobs, and managed every week so your budget goes to what works.

What is paid advertising for small businesses?
Paid advertising is paying to show up in front of the right people right away: Google search ads, Local Services Ads, Facebook and Instagram ads and retargeting. Done well, it’s a steady, measurable source of calls while your SEO and content build up.
Why it matters
Ads are the fastest way to get in front of people searching for what you do today. But without good targeting, matching landing pages and real tracking, it’s also the fastest way to waste money. The goal is simple: more booked jobs for every dollar spent.
01 · Where your ads run
Search ads
Show up when they’re searching.
Google search ads put you at the top when someone searches for what you do. I pick the searches that signal a buyer, block the ones that don’t, like jobs, free and DIY, and write ads that say exactly what you offer and where.

Retargeting
Bring back the people who almost called.
Most visitors leave without calling the first time. Retargeting shows them a short, friendly reminder on Google and Facebook over the next few weeks, capped so it never gets annoying, and leaves out people who are already customers.

Local campaigns
Only where you actually work.
Ads should only show in the area you serve. I set tight local targeting by town and radius, set up Google Local Services Ads where your business qualifies, so you pay per lead instead of per click, and track which towns bring in the most work.

05 · Make clicks count
Landing pages
Every ad gets a page made for it.
Sending ad clicks to your homepage wastes a lot of them. Each campaign gets a landing page that repeats the ad’s promise, shows proof and asks for one thing, so more of the clicks you pay for turn into calls and forms.

06 · Make clicks count
Conversion tracking
Optimize for calls and jobs, not clicks.
I track the things that matter, like real calls from ads, quote forms with spam filtered out and booked jobs from your records, and send them back to Google and Facebook. Their systems then find more people like the ones who actually hire you.

07 · Spend smarter
Budget management
Money moves to what’s working.
You set the monthly budget; I make it work. Every week I check spend against the plan and move money toward the channels and campaigns with the lowest cost per lead, and away from the ones that aren’t paying off. No surprise overspending.

A/B testing
Two ads running, the better one stays.
There’s always a test running: two headlines, two images or two offers, shown side by side. The one with the lower cost per lead stays and a new challenger takes the other spot. Over a few months, small wins add up to much cheaper leads.

09 · Spend smarter
Audience research
Know who to reach, and when.
Before spending a dollar, I research the searches your buyers use, the searches to block, who your best customers are and when they look for you. Ads run where and when they’re most likely to turn into a job, not around the clock.

The Ritner Ad
How I’d advertise my own business.
The same rules I use for clients: a headline that says what you do and for whom, one clear offer, links to the pages people actually want and a page made for the click. Here’s what goes into every ad I build.

Social ads
In the feed, in front of the right people.
Facebook and Instagram ads reach people before they’re searching. I build them around a clear offer and real photos of your work, target the people and area you actually serve, and use simple lead forms or a matching page to bring in inquiries.
